Thanks very much for your help.
They are only 2 and 3, so as long as I am OK signing as a "Landed Parent" and Not the principle applicant then this will work out for us.......

Last weekend my husband and I landed.

He is the principle applicant.

If he went to Canada now permanently could I follow in a couple of weeks/months and land our two children on my way...

Another Landing Question?

Can the principle applicant and myself (partner) land together, return to the UK, and then follow for good with our 2 daughters at a later date for them to complete landingland.

Do UK Video Cassettes work on Candian VCR's

It may sound daft but we are hoping to be in Canada next spring. Some of our relatives are trying to get gifts for our toddlers for Christmas that we can take with us to Canada at no major import...

We applied through London in May 2003, and have had our medicals (Sept 04) and sent additional paperwork (Oct 04)........

nope we havnt done this as yet however we have applied under the entrepreneur scheme(still waiting)
as far as i,m aware if you are still a uk resident then you pay tax to the uk taxman on...

Once the baby is born though he or she will also need their own medical. This was the case for my friend who is emmigrating to Austrailia. I presume it would be the same for Canada too !!!! ???

We used a company based in London called Custom House for two transfers earlier on in the year from £ to Can $.
They were very efficient, funds were delivered same day and they only charged...

We were asked to go for your medicals in Aug 04 and to submit additional paperwork CV's, Education Certificates, work references etc.... All has been done.

the pass mark was 74 i think we had 73.
when we applied we did,nt fully understand the implications of the entrepreneur scheme (fools that we are)however we do have our own business...
