if your visas are work related, have you thought of getting a second passport? You just need a letter from your employer stating a second visa is needed for visa applications.

I've paid my taxes foncieres already. I'm guessing they are still trying decide how much to put it up ;)

I would check to see if your tax neutral jurisdiction is on the Portuguese black list; if it is, the income will be taxed punitively.

Green cards should be surrendered as soon as you are...

CGT is a tax that would be paid in the UK for a non-resident (gains since since 2015)..or corporation tax if owned by a foreign company. The tax treaty may then offset some Portuguese tax.

I though the UK did not allow pets in the passenger cabin of planes, only in the hold. It's expensive to put them in the hold (and stressful).
