First I would escalate this in the bank and ask to speak with the manager of the branch. You should be able to send a certified letter with a copy of your identifcation that you opened the account...

Just to add, I would recommend that as soon as you know you are going to stay in Spain that you try to get the appointment at the DGT to exchange your licence. It took me 5 months to find an...

For sure if you prefer bars and not driving too much then I definitely wouldnt recommend Villamartin. I lived there for 6 months and personally liked it and I know many Brits, Norwegians and Belgians...
