We also included an additional piece of paper with grandparents birthdays and dates of marriage, but I assume it wasn’t even looked at.

Sent in a paper application about 10 days ago. Got a message to say the application was approved about 5 days later, and the passport arrived today!

Ok thanks. It’s funny we completely forgot one of the people we’ve known the longest since returning to the UK is a doctor. We’ll ask them in addition to the retired policeman officer.
