Yes $2500 is pretty crazy for a 3 bedroom house. That's why we are looking at a bit further from GTA... So hopefully we can get a little more bang for our buck!

I think finance wise you should be ok. Work wise it may take sometime to secure the right job as you are prepared for (Not sure what your field of work is) Have you lived/worked in Canada before?

We ruled out Quebec/National Capital Region due to the fact the kids would have to attend french school. Not that is is a bad thing but we have very VERY little French it was not going to work for...

Yes my biking will be weather dependent.. I'm not hardcore. We really are ideally wanting to stick close to GTA. Peterborough seems ok but part of reason of backing out of a previous location...

So yes my daughter was born in Canada and my son was born in the UK and has his PR card. As we activated our PR in Oct 2017 we will need to make the move before Oct 2020...

To add my wife would focus on the kids initially to help them settle. We have 3 kids so oldest would be kindergarten age when we move so we will need childcare also for the younger 2. I would imagine...
