hello,

i have been searching for some info but cant find correct answers. have even asked citizens advice who just didnt know:

thanks! we first travel for a few days to pick his brp and then we come back to algeria to pack everything and travel again with the kids once school is over in july.

sounds crazy i know.... Majority of algerian settled in uk do this on summer. Even from Belgium Germany and so on.
Tickets are more expensive than ferry. And at least you can take what you want.

Hello... My husband got his visa this morning...overwhelmed with joy.
to recap we all live abroad and applied through savings. We rented a flat with a contract starring in June.

yes for long stays it is mandatory even if you cancel to pay one month....so for two months even if we cancel we will have to pay the first month. We have to take the risk

Thanks !! The idea was to have my 11y daughter share the living room with my aunt. . But it seems risky. We will either stick with a two month Airbnb or keep looking for a six months rental.
