i never got the i-765 approved, but anyways it does no longer matter.

congrats on your approval!! You will get the card in 3 or 4 business days, at least this is what took for me.

Denial decision was reverted by USCIS after a lot of work and money for the lawyers.

I am going thru EB1 route. Hopefully it does not take long, but it is something unpredictable these days.

Hi folks - after a lot of ups and downs on my perm residency filing (including a L1A renewal denial after the first 3 years), my company lawyers filed the AOS (I already have an i-140 approved)....

I got it, I meant to say this will suffice for a exchange…
when we arrived in US we had to pass the driving exam here though, so not having to do this again is great.

there is not such rule, the moment I challenged my HR department, they came offering back Ottawa as option.
I never asked why they told me this at the beginning…

apparently no problems on the ITC process, but yes most likely the Ottawa office is smaller than Toronto, Vancouver or Montreal and maybe there is a company policy (I couldn’t find it) to be based...

yes, this describes the type of visa I spoke to the lawyers about.
it does not say anything about restrictions on locations on this visa (unless I missed something in the canadian website), so...
