hsbc Uk now opened as well as HSBC international- a bit fiddly but now have those 2 accounts linked and can see them both on either website or app - instant free seamless...

Just a thought - surely the interest is actually paid annually so you would therefore have to declare it in that year - maybe it’s paid on maturity?

Mainly for Helen this reply… different banks have different restrictions and charges for transferring cash and it makes a huge difference to the amount of interest earned if there are delays...

Yes - I’ve noticed is is often better value to buy the smaller packs - odd!
I do have a loyalty card with Carrefour but haven’t worked out what the benefits are yet - but I religiously get it...
