Yes that's the whole story, but I will have enough money to buy again in UK if Spain does not work out, I realise it would be better to rent my house out but the only people here who are close to me...

Let's put it this way, I do not go where the young and boisterous go, I prefer somewhere quieter now but within reach of bars, restaurants and shops

That Torrevieja is a small benidorm, lots of English yobs on holiday and the housing on the outskirts is like a English council estate, those are the worst things I've read.

Hopefully some of you are in the same boat I am, I'm single and plan to retire to Spain, probably somewhere on the Costa Blanca but I'll be by myself apart from my dog and am terrible at picking...

The insoles I have are from the hospital, granted a firm do it for them but they are truly custom so unlikely the ones off Amazon would do, but thanks its something to think about.
