US Tax Refund

Hey all

I was wondering if anyone has moved back from the US to the UK and applied for an income tax refund? Where you eligible? Did you get it?

I have been in the US since the end of September...

I would be careful also. If your job duties etc are not what was described in your L1 application then you may be in breach already.

Yup as has been said we tried to email and where told nothing. We are starting week 3 i think exact same reason for AP as you.

We havent heard anything yet. They did check out our office about 10 days ago (office manager told us) however we haven't...

Sorry King I should have explained I am not on a blanket this is individual L-1A New Office with myself as a major shareholder in the business. Regarding the point being moot the extension is granted...

Not daft at all the situation however is daft. The company had to file a petition for a new office I-129 petition. That has been approved by USCIS using that petition you then apply for the L-1A visa...

Yeah they called the office to ask questions about our suite. The office manager let us know. L-1 Visa for new office is always only issued in the first instance for 1 year.

Hey thanks for replying. Our AP is slightly different due to it being an L-1A our petition and therefor Visa started counting down (it's only valid for one year) when it was approved around 4 weeks...
