Forgot to add...

The only drawback is that you're supposed to "intend to return to the UK or EU to work after the course has finished". I'm not sure what happens if you intend to do that and you end up staying in Oz....

You should be able to apply for a Career Development Loan but unfortunately you will not be entitled to any UK funding such as bursaries or grants. I'm also going out to Australia next month...

Thanks to those who replied to my posting - I phoned up Seven Seas (Excess Baggage) and they gave me a quote which seems a much better option than Royal Mail!

Does anybody have any ideas on how much a student would need to live on in Adelaide? The general figure that the university has given me is about $10,000 - is this realistic?
