doesn't have to be a parent company, (we opened a subsidiary US office of our UK company), but yes the company applied for the visa

I forgot to add, my husbands crime was marijuana possession so not a CIMT. Our bigger issue was avoiding a misrep finding.

If you search my past posts... they start in 2017 with me enquiring if we have a chance of being able to move here and overcoming inadmissibility. I would say it was definitely a big issue to prove...

yes, and 4 years later we became permanent residents. Next year we will apply for citizenship

its all nonsense scaremongering. my family travel regularly in and out with our green cards. If you are not a criminal then you will be fine.

it may make things more complex for sure. Different crime, but similar situation when my other half applied for his L1. Our biggest worry was a possible finding of misrepresentation re use of ESTA.

when we moved over in 2018, we were able to get Amex via global transfer, currently have Amex plat but I think we started off with Amex Blue here in 2018

I would do 3 things if I were you, 1) ur husband returns to the USA asap 2) speak to an immigration attorney 3) find a very good reason (with supporting evidence) as to why your husband had no choice...

my other half still gets pulled into secondary - 7 years and one green card later!!! (albeit can casually stroll off a cruise ship with zero issue at all!)

well, I will answer again non politically. I think UK has plenty of its own problems. Only you can make the decision as to what is the lesser of 2 evils. Such a personal decision.

a green card has to be renewed every 10 years. It's a real pity someone renewing for the 4th or 5th time never naturalized.

totally agree. California is a mess!! maybe OP can consider moving to a better run state with less crime, less taxes, less homelessness with less DEI hires and more ability-based hires
