that's strange, I literally walked into the GE office at Miami airport and they did it there and then and told me my visa became invalid regardless as soon as green cards printed. took less than 10...

go to the Global enrollment office at your local airport. I did this when I got my green card. I didn't need an appointment, they just updated my info,,

my kids were 12 and 14 at their L2 "interview". It wasn't what I would call an interview tho, just a formality.

you have to go thru the process regardless as you won't be eligible for an ESTA. Im not sure what a lawyer would do anyway as you will get the visa regardless. either straight away if your lucky...

yes, my husband did. It's a process....as you are aware. we came out on L1 (and L2 visas) in 2018 and got our green cards in 2022.

I had same experience a few weeks ago in Miami, every time I think....wow!! my husband was 50 mins behind me, as he isn't eligible for GE due to marijuana conviction over a quarter of a century ago...

We moved to US June 2018. My 14 yr old son started high school (grade 9) August 2018, it was tough!! I don't advise it. Took a while to settle and a year or 2 to figure out that every single grade...

my experience is I moved to the US when my kids were 12 and 14 in June 2018. My 14 year old went straight into high school grade 9. He just about 'coped' but I feel he lost out having no opportunity...

"no live trace" for purposes of immigration may as well show all details, as that is what you will have to do, we have been there...... its a process!
