ARTC assesment

Quick question to those have applied for and received the ARTC back from the TRA. How long did it take? I have applied for an electrical fitter ARTC and have heard stories that it takes from 4 weeks...

If you are water friendly then a couple of nights on a Pro-sail boat up in Aarlie beach is a must. I have done twice in the last year and can strongly recommend it.

Expected Pay for Electrician

Can anyone help, I am moing out to Adelaide in the new year and was wondering what the rates of pay were for an eletrician.

Working as a sparky in Adelaide?

Just a short question, although I have been assessed and quantified as an electrician by via TRA, will I have to take some sort of test once I get to Adelaide to work as an electrician?

My visa is a skilled 136 visa and my meds etc were in Adelaide over 7 weeks ago now........ ah well the wait goes on.

4 to 6 weeks, now that sounds a whole lot better. I could be in Adelaide for xmas, enjoying a beer on the beach :beer:

No, I guess I should really give them a ring or drop them an e-mail tomorrow. Even if its just for peace of mind....

I got a timescale back in october of 48 to 50 weeks, but have heard nothing more. Perhaps I will ring them tomorrow and ask again....

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to find out if you have you're visa or not after they have received you're medical and police checks. The wait is killing me....

I am using OE Visas based in Edinburgh (although they have offices across the UK). They charged around £1500 and have done everything...... just waiting for the visa to drop through the door ......
