I'll look for the I-751 online now. The expiration date of his green card is mid-January.

Ah, that makes sense! He said he actually thinks it expired in 2017, which could potentially be within the two year window. I guess we'll just have to go to DPS and see what they have on record and...

I wrote a small statement under the comment section and it was accepted! All of our documents have now been approved. Thank you so much everyone for your help.

Now we wait for the interview date....
