I take your point and would normally agree with you, but I just don't think Retes initial post was reasonable. If people think I over reacted then I apologise.

Did you actually read the original post or did you jump straight to ill informed judgement of whether it was a valid question or not?

Quick question for you please - I'm currently in the process of moving to Chicago and was looking in to driving licenses.

Thanks for the detailed reply.

The Mayfair option was more if I was going to be living in and around lakeview, if I was in the city centre id just straight train it out there.

Cheapest equivalent bike on autotrader is £8000 from a dealer, so I guess I could look at getting around £7400 for it.

Out of curiosity, what route you taking for motorbikes? Are you importing or buying a bike over?

Im weighing up whether to try to bring mine over in a container or buy a bike over.

Thanks for the replies, there is some great advice here.

I had considered looking around lakeview and doing a combination of car and train to get out to Glenview, probably catching the commuter...
