I check with Alerta. Although based in the Algarve, they also cover the Lower Alentejo and use ProCiv for their alerts.

Yes, the train times make a difference.

We went from Funchaira straight through to Porto.

Friends took a later train and had to change at Lisbon.

We went from Funcheira to Braga by train last time and going over the bridges to Lisbon and then Porto is stunning.

It won't happen very often Sportpix. According to one of my Portuguese friends, he can't remember this happening in his lifetime and he's in his mid 50's.

Another supporter of the normal health service here.

We had to get private health care when we moved over 20 years ago, but cancelled it very quickly, on the advice of our Portuguese friends.

Well, MEO are being rather good about it all.

Service terminated about midday on 6 December, had a couple of letters, saying I can return the old equipment by 6 January, free of charge.

I still have the original agreement, with Portugal Telecom.

But now we can't get any English tv, we have got Starlink and other means. We can still watch Portuguese tv, but my internet is going...

We've had both of our eyes done, long distance only lenses. All done in Gambelas, Faro and the consultations were at Guia HPA.

Each consultation was 80€ and the actual operation was 1,750€.

And having washed the open cut with agua thingy, put on some "septil". It's a powder and will also help.
