Help, I have over 100 chu-chus which grew from 1 plant in my horta. Hubby doesn't like them, nevertheless I hide them in chili etc but I can't keep up. I've tried making a few soups which they are supposed to be good in but have yet to find one I like. I have a couple of friends that like them but not that much! Does anyone else use these and have any tasty recipes to share? - please

Thanks for replying ouriquejan
Unfortunately hubby will notice in stews. Chips is an interesting idea but I don't do deep frying.
I have tried various soups that I found on-line but sadly nothing tasty so far, I thought maybe folks on here might have come up with some good recipes but I guess I'll have to return to google to see if I can find anything else worth trying.

They grow in Hong Kong as well and I can remember my wife liberating a couple from a tree on a morning dog walk. She stuffed them with minced beef, spices and other bits and bobs that she kept secret then baked or roasted them in the oven. They were absolutely delicious.

Thanks for all your replies and thanks to spouse of scouse for the pickles link - I already have several jars of good piccalilli I made using courgettes but I might try the date, apple and chuchu one. Sadly the recipe only uses 2 chuchus!
Sportpix - I don't really see how one stuffs them but your wife obviously managed it and to make them into a tasty dish to boot
I don't have an air fryer, I hear they are good, so I'll look into it.
