Although i consider myself to be an patriotic Englishman, i think i would chosen the American side just because of the basic reasons involved in the first place. IE freedom to make ones own decisons.

Yes, both step son and daughter are US citizens. My step daughter was on the tax return so i`ll consider her a dependent even though she doesn really live with us.
