Re: NatWest Banking Charges

What has been the charge for receiving money through an intermediary bank in the past then or have you never sent money in that way before?

Just to be clear - I already paid the banking fee from...

NatWest Banking Charges

Does anyone know what the charge is on a standard current account to receive money from abroad? I remember asking about this some time ago at the bank and I think I was told it was 1% of the amount...

Seef v Juffair

I went to Bahrain for some partying a few years ago. I had a pretty good time in Juffair but the bars and clubs were jam-packed with hookers. I wonder if the bars and clubs in Seef are different? Do...

Re: IELTS General Training, or PTE Academic, that is the question.

I recommend buying a grammar book with answers. Raymond Murphy's books are the standard, and I also like another book which I have listed below:

Re: Condensation/mildew problem

I wouldn't say that the actions of the tenants are causing the situation... Are you really going to leave windows open if the house or flat is frozen cold?? I like the idea of vents and dehumidifiers...

Re: Classics in Portugal

I would go over to Portugal, teach English to get you going, and see if you like the place.. You can then network and see what opportunities arise that are closer to your real interest. As others...

Re: Consequences of the UK leaving Europe

I don't think it is a margin of error at all. Margins of error are usually 2-3% or so.

The YouGov poll showed that almost 70% of Labour voters voted for remain. Which is what the remain camp...

Re: Returning to the UK with Long term illness after cancer

Macmillan are very good and I would urge you to contact them as they have a lot of advice to give on different areas such as medical care, housing, and counselling.

Re: Consequences of the UK leaving Europe

Where are those figures from? I read it was 69% of Labour supporters that voted to remain, and 43% of Tories (according to YouGov). Maybe there is some media manipulation going on again.

Re: "Brexit"

After a national referendum, I think the only way to go is to abide by it completely as the will of the people. Any attempt to hijack it in parliament or block it in a regional assembly will only do...

Re: "Brexit"

If the vote had been remain I doubt very much if there would have been protests in the street and suggestions about voiding the decision in parliament.. The fact is that no one -even most Brexiters-...

Re: Amalfi Coast, where to stay?

Yes, once out of Sorrento things get a lot better.. I started walking up one of the paths into the hills from Postiano and it was lovely. Went past a French hiking group.

Re: Amalfi Coast, where to stay?

My advice after just passing through a few days ago..

The area is heavily touristic and as someone posted on another forum quite 'inauthentic'. Sorrento, especially, is just full of expensive...

Do you have a UK bank account? How much does your bank charge to transfer the money to paysera or is it done through your bank account?
