Re: Marine Cargo Insurance for Household Goods

Thanks for the reply everyone. Interesting points you all raised.

Re: Partner (unmarried) has a job offer in Singapore

This is just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. You may want to email MOM (Ministry of Manpower) for clarification.

I'm basing my answer on the requirements stated in the MOM website:...

Re: Opening a Bank Account in Singapore for Dependent Spouse

Based on the requirements I've seen from the local Singapore banks, it's not that easy to open a bank account if you're not a citizen or a permanent resident and you hold a dependent pass. If you...

Based on the email they sent, it is possible...

Re: Investing in US Mutual Funds

Thanks! We're on an E3 visa, renewable every 2 years. We know we'll have to leave eventually but I'd like to put my money somewhere where it it'll earn.

Re: Do you like where you live?

Hubby hates the winter, though, and if it were left up to...

Re: Opening a US bank account

I'm on a E-3D visa, since we just arrived last Nov and I still don't have an SSN, I suppose that was the reason why they asked me to fill out the W8.

Thanks, will follow that up as soon as I get...
