Hi there,

I'm wondering if there are any teachers on here who are in New Zealand?
We are moving with our 5 and 8 year old P1 and P4 and we are wondering if the years are comparable? What level...

That's good to hear....we have the choice to go to Auckland or Wellington...and love the sound of Wellington but apparently the weather is horrific....we keep thinking...

It's not def Auckland, the job my husband has been offered allows him to be based in either Auckland or Wellington so that's the next decision....

Thank you, yes my dad said the cost of living is dearer bit it worth it so echoes what your saying....I'm glad your enjoying it :)

Hi there,

We are from the south side, generally seen as a nicer area...it's not unsafe that you can't go out at night or anything not at all and I would never not recommend anyone to come visit...

a beach lifestyle where the children can run free...not as much rain ;) so they can at least go out, I would put up with extreme weather in the winter if it meant a hot summer...
They can take part...

Hi there, thanks for that...I lived in Canada when wee and have fond memories...my mum is Canadian so I think if comparing Glasgow it would be a great place to go.

We lived away for 7 years in the UK and loved it but feel our children's life's would be better abroad....we are an outdoor family here but it cannot compare with Canada New Zealand or...

Thanks for the info....yeah I think as far as I'm led to believe work-life balance is better in New Zealand....although I've been told Canada is not as safe...
