Sure there will be but given the exponential rise in the numbers leaving compared to 10 yrs back there are major cracks in the system coupled with mass vacancies they can't fill across the country...

Yes once in the UK I wasn't given a job once because the admin thought I needed a work permit on the basis of my name despite them having a copy of my UK passport!! Go figure that one out jg.

90% of scripts in the UK are issued free of charge so for those ppl they would want a prescription for anything I mean anything! For them it's a free bandage not something that costs the taxpayer 3...

It was very common to issue a script for calpol to someone which costs £1.50 from any store and if you asked the punter why they made an appt for this they would say well it's free inn it!!! Anyway...

They may well do but I would lay a large chunk of the blame on the british public for relentless abuse of the service just as using a GP appt. to get otc meds because they don't want to pay for it...

Well having been here a few months now I can say that leaving the NHS and coming here was the best move I could have done.

I would encourage all UK docs to leave the socialist NHS quagmire asap....
