OK ...its all done and over with. The box as it were arrived within a day of being expected, the customs did not open anything and didn't even open the crate, all items were in immaculate condition...

the Haze has been a issue for us here in Ipoh since we arrived, I think its been clear for about 5 days in total, we were even in Pankgor the over the half term and it ruined all veiws...

Britmal,

thanks again for your insight, the salary that we will be getting is £33,000 pa in the UK, this is a respectable salary in these times in the UK and so should seem more in Ipoh (not KL)...

you semed irked by all of this, if i can help slightly, we have no kids, so forget the education costs, we know that rents here for a nice place (look online) are between 1300 and 2000...
