Re: exchanging a foreign, non British driver's license in Ontario

That's a definite no go.

But I am sure, Brits can easily exchange licenses from UK to Ontario, once all the other documents, proof of ID, etc.. are presented....

Re: Toronto feels Small

I think, Toronto might feel a bit small to the newcomer.

And yes, Toronto is actually small, when one only considers Toronto which only has 2,6 M inhabitants, excluding Mississauga, Markham,...

Re: exchanging a foreign, non British driver's license in Ontario

Thanks for the answer. Unless somebody has a recent experience, it's probably best to phone, since the requirements might change frequently. But it's Services Ontario, not Services Canada, as far...

Re: exchanging a foreign, non British driver's license in Ontario

Re: Bill C-24?

The content displayed in the link is by my knowledge incorrect,
Incorrect, as far as I know the physical presence of 1,095 days had to be met and it was up to the applicant to successfully prove to...

Re: Bill C-24?

I read this article as well. I am actually happy with that decision. If one doesn't fit in, he/she should be stripped of citizenship. The question is still, why is Bill C-24 necessary? Canada...

Re: Bill C-24?

I recall that a certain level of ethnic profiling has always been practiced in Canada, and things were always a bit easier for somebody like myself (white, European) , compared to somebody who had a...

Re: Toronto to dublin, Ireland for $318 USD return

I am just surprised that it was a US carrier which introduced this price. Possibly in competition?

Aer Lingus seems to fly Toronto to Dublin nonstop these days, and the introductory prices were...

Re: choices - do I stay or do I go

I know that feeling very well. Isn't that true anywhere these days. One is required or "encouraged" to move somewhere new due to the job, and the only "friends" one meets are only able to do dumb...

Re: Bill C-24?

What bothers me about Bill C24 is EXACTLY the following rhetoric:

- "Canadians of Convenience". When is actually somebody a Canadian of Convenience? Is that defined by law? Is somebody who...

Re: Toronto to dublin, Ireland for $318 USD return

What bothered me more and made things very much uncertain, and also the reason why I started this thread, was how the article was written in the Globe and Mail: ...

I know this is probably a very sensitive matter and may have been discussed in this forum already. However even when I did a search, nothing came up.

In relation to Bill C-24, I was wondering...

Re: moving back to Canada, question about tax after selling property in UK?

Re: moving back to Canada, question about tax after selling property in UK?
