Yep, Wedgeport, Quinnan, Pubnico and a few more have a strong French influence. It's such an odd French language though, there's a guy here who has French as a first language and I have told him...

Very little, enough to just about get by in France. Not that that would help too much here, the French spoken round here is something I've never heard before. There are a couple of places nearby...

I use Hola, an add on for Chrome. Once it's running you just go to the ITV player and it plays right on the laptop. You could also buy a Chromecast and send it straight to the telly if you like too.

Actually we were planning on going down south to the Carribean for a week or so a while after I get here, I assume that won't hurt either.

When I said 12 months, I did mean 6 months + the extension (Which is what I am currently on now funnily enough). Sorry for not making that clear.

At what stage did you apply for fiancee sponsorship? Was it day one from your other half getting in the country?
Also is fiancee sponsorship different to spousal sponsorship?
