We arrived 18 months ago to Comox Valley and bought in November. Arriving in February might mean you could rent an Airbnb for a couple of months as holiday letting is quiet until later in the year....

What about the goods accompanying? Just headings such as clothes $500 toys $100 etc or more...

No. We land in Vancouver airport on 24th. We have applied for PR via provincial nomination by paper at their request so that will take ages. I have a TWP for up to 4 years.

I would suggest getting as much paperwork done before February because it takes forever. The source verification for MCC and the stuff Healthmatch BC request and process for cpsbc.

Unless your husband has passed LMCC he will start work as a provisionally registered GP which means he will have to have a mentor/supervisor. How involved they are will vary but that was one criteria...

Iec for uk/Irish dual citizen

My son has applied to iec with his uk passport but to increase his chances wants to apply via Ireland too. Does he do this through the same CIC accounts or set up a new one?

I had similar problems with getting letters from trusts but managed to track down consultants I worked for who hadn't left and who remembered me and a letter from them was acceptable to cpsbc

Dan who is mentioned above who runs a site about gps going from uk to Canada has just updated the AB processes and it's changed but there are jobs but it's centralised now. He's also on FB.

Oh not paid work. He wants to do some charitable stuff or voluntary work. Most of the schemes I am aware of are in warmer climes and he hates the heat.
