Re: Is the EU getting a new aristocratic class??

It's an interesting hypothesis and very probably not entirely devoid of any merits.

I see this is your first post, so tell us a bit more about yourself if you feel inclined. Where are you from,...

Re: Help please with financas portal.

You only declare the interest.

It's not possible to give a definitive answer with just this info. as it can depend on other factors.

It is, however, a general rule of thumb which will apply...

That would be automatically applied.

The declaration includes year of acquisition as well as value, which is then adjusted to take monetary devaluation during the period of ownership into account.

Re: Sold flat in UK, CGT due in Portugal as well as UK?

That is correct - tax would be levied on 50% of the gain (after taking into account allowable expenditures), which will be combined with all your other income for the year in question. You pay scale...

Re: Cash Payments Giving NIF Details

That would be the most likely outcome, I would say.

EDIT : Just returning to clarify that what I mean by that is that the expense probably doesn't get recorded on the e-fatura portal against your...

Re: Cash Payments Giving NIF Details

If the receipt has your NIF on it, it almost certainly will find its way automatically onto e-faturas but there's often a delay involved.

Businesses have 5 working days after the end of each month...

Re: Sold flat in UK, CGT due in Portugal as well as UK?

Re: Mens EU clothes sizes

They use the French system of clothes sizes here, where it's marked as a PT size, if that's any help.

I think the French system and appropriate conversion is quite well-known, if you do a search.

Re: CGT CALCULATION on Lisbon flat sale - want to avoid an error

I don't think this is completely correct under the circumstances as I understand them.

The inheritance was dealt with some time ago and there was no stamp duty due as the 3 beneficiaries of the...

Re: Validation of Expenses for Tax Return

The ginasio-fitness benefit has been available since 2021 @ 15% of the IVA paid. IVA is 23% on this.

So if you were paying 34 euros per month every month last year, your total expenditure would...

It's not so much that you're missing out, although it is difficult to see how the accountant could correctly assign pending invoices or get the full-IVA health items dealt with correctly without...

Re: Validation of Expenses for Tax Return

Wot Arquero said.

I get the impression you're assuming (or she's leading you to believe) that your accountant's doing a fair bit of work on this but she really isn't. Most of it's automatic. Has...

Would you have said the same if it...
