Sorry I should say local hire is someone (normally a teacher) hired on their spouse's visa. So here in the Middle East because I applied for a job while holding a visa...

Kingdom Compound have one beds for around 100k. Plenty of singles here as well as families. Big mix of nationalities but plenty Westerners if that is your thing. Think you can also get 6 month leases...

Thanks. Yeah I guessed Muslims wouldn't celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. I'm a teacher so I get holidays off. Hopefully his Iqama won't take long. A few days would be ideal!
