tradesman charges

Just curious to know what tradesman charge per hour for work in Mallorca/spain. so if you were getting a new kitchen or bathroom or flooring done etc what would say a joiner or plumber painter etc...

we actually live in the usa now and have been for the last 18 years but want to be a bit closer to family as its so expensive for them to come here plus a 12 hour flight but also don't want to...

thanks for the replies, my son is 11 and picks things up real quickly and his Spanish is going well so far but is it pointless learning Spanish if most people speak catalan or if he was quite fluent...

hi, my son has been learning Spanish as we intend to move to Mallorca next year and is picking it up really quickly but I am hearing that they all speak catalan in the state schools (in the school)...

what does a gestor or lawyer charge??

I understand that it is advisable to hire a gestor when dealing with legal paperwork etc, so if you are buying a business or property/vehicle etc you can hire this person to do all the paperwork...
