If I were you I would come for a visit first and try to get yourself in a work mode mentality. Try to think of what it'll look like living here, not just being on a recce.

I've been working in the carpet cleaning business since 2010 and also have a small window cleaning business. I am a keen travel writer so trying to get into that industry too. My wife is in banking....

Yep, London, UK. I think my wife and I may do a recce trip in the autumn to see if we really do want to live in Britain. Try to see the country through eyes of a resident, not a tourist.

Thanks for all the replies. I do have Canadian citizenship and passport as my Father was born in Canada. I'm dual.
