Yup! As I understand it, transfers up to 50K pesos go via instapay, above this they go via BSP for "checking" , supposedly anti money laundering etc. It changed when Wise set up Wise Philippines...

Yes,I was rather surprised at the response! Usually my Proof of Life is sent out by DWP in October and my wifes in January. Mind you we never get them of course!

Will keep fingers crossed and see...

Just for information. I contacted International Pensions to see if they had sent Proof of life requests so I could avoid the annual non payment and the phone call etc to International pensions.

That's strange. I've never had a problem using the government Gateway - I get annual messages from HMRC which I have to access via the GG and using taxcalc, it uses my GG login in to submit the...

Hmmmm.............. I've never had a self assessment form from HMRC - not that snail mail ever gets here anyway! I've used Taxcalc(google it) for over 10 years and can fill it in and submit to HMRC...

That is definitely different from my experience. I've called them every year for the last 6/7 years for my POL and the last 2 years for my wifes. Never had anything but politeness and concern....
