That looks like a better option. I can understand a few weeks, but six months is a long time. We have already done the 2.5 years apart while waiting for his visa to come here. (It was a mess!) so...

We are in the same kind of situation, I am American and my husband is British. I looked at the links provided, and saw that the minimum income requirement is £18,600 per year if you’re applying only...

I'm sorry that happened to your family. That must have been really rough. Thank goodness things have improved there now...Let's hope they continue to.

Re: Norn Irishman in the deep south

Now that I have discovered that apparently British people have been eating turkey at Christmas for almost as long as we Americans have for Thanksgiving, I officially give up. Turkey it is.

Re: Norn Irishman in the deep south

Or maybe my head's just full of sweetie mice.

And I just looked at your username and figured out why that blasted Dire Straits song has been stuck in my head for the last five hours!

Re: Norn Irishman in the deep south

Thanks. We southern girls prefer verbosity to vulgarity. Unless of course you are talking about college football, when we see absolutely nothing wrong with shouting "go Cocks!" at the top of our...

Re: Norn Irishman in the deep south
