Northern Irish guy in rural North Texas
Hi I have lived in a tiny town in Texas for 2 and a half years, I am married to a US citizen I'm originally from County Down in Northern Ireland. I'm loving Texas but miss home sometimes so I thought I'd join this forum and get in contact with other expats.

I'm new here myself, married to a Norn Irishman and he lives in the crazy deep south because of me so I figured this would be a good place to find others in our situation.

We've decided when we can afford it, we will summer in Northern Ireland and spend the rest of the year here. Best of both worlds.

Summer in Northern Ireland has a bad reputation, (both for weather and political stuff around parades) but when yo do get good weather there is no where like it.
