I took the RPL route one year ago. I probably would not have had a sucessful assessment without the help of George Lombard. (BTW, George's fee is very reasonable)

At last, .... the yellow envelope has landed

Our yellow envelope has arrived, the PR visa has been granted.

The name of our son is slighlty misspelled in the grand letter, I hope that won't cause any problems when collecting the evidence...

Why not get 20 points for English language? It's not that difficult (you can always get extra training if necessary) and it will get you a PR visa.

They seem to have reached their 2003-2004 taget. Seems logical that they put our applications on hold till the new year starts. Be patient, it's only two weeks till the new year starts.

Photos stapled with DIMIA stamps all over them. The photos were taken at the photo shop with a polaroid camera, so no negatives available.

I don't think that DIMIA will settle for an email as the 'officical proof' of your skills. Untill all these things like digital signatures have become a commodity you'll still need the good old paper...

Our first yellow envelope has landed today, PCC and medicals request for the 4 of us (and the envelope is really yellow).
