Not on the list. Think hsbc are unnecessarily strict. So much for the worlds local bank.

I spoke to the local council and they very helpfully informed me that she didn't need to be added to the bill as it was my parents place. Even after we had explained why we needed it.

Thanks for the tips everyone!

Unfortunately the bank are very picky and can only accept:
council tax bill
utility bill
telephone bill (not mobile)
sky bill
credit card bill
bank statement...

I have sent off my child benefit today so will know soon whether I am entitled.

I have spoken to the Child Tax Credit people...

What's the best way of legally bringing money back to the UK? We've been in China for several years and all the money is from our jobs. The amount would be approximately £40,000. Thanks for the help!

Im assuming you mean a ps3?

Your US ps will work but you'll need a converter for the plug.

The ps3 is region free so you'll be able to play uk games on it no problem however you won't be able...

Visa successful!!!! Very fast turn around. 9 work days. Now to find a job,house,flights and shipping :-s
