Hi Meudwen, I returned last October with a similar amount. I was lucky enough to get a job quite quickly, even though it's contracting and not quite ideal it pays the rent and gets me through....

Back six months now

I've been back in the UK for six months today, sometimes it feels like a I've been here a lot longer and yet sometimes it feels like only yesterday.

I'm returning from East Rand, Johannesburg in October.

The prices of everything here have certainly skyrocketed, I was in England last year...

I do agree that they are impractical but I'm a bit of a petrolhead and just fell in love with it. Plus I confess I do get a kick out of the look...
