Posting belongings to Canada BEFORE I move there

Hello,

I was planning on posting some suitcases of clothes to friends of mine in Canada BEFORE I move to Canada (a month or two in advance).

Is this possible and would I get into trouble with...

Just curious... can I work in Quebec if I have a PR visa? I did not go through the Quebec immigration system just the Federal skilled workers visa system.
