Is '360 plant operator' the same as operating an excavator? If so you don't need any credentials there's a ton of jobs where the guy will just evaluate you on the spot if it's for a paving company or...

Depends how much money you want to spend. If you want to spend $3k+ per month rent then you can live anywhere. If not then you can rent out in the burbs like North Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Langley...

Use a forex company for that amount. None of them charge any wire transfer fees for over $3k usually and you can pay EFT from UK bank account probably branch to branch transfer.
