Re: Extended Stay - UK tax status query

Bear in mind that my comments might be supoerceded by improvements in the way supervisa holders are managed nowadays.
I don't know whether things have changed in the ten years since we arrived on a...

Re: UK Government Gateway - HMRC

Unfortunately it's been some time since I accessed the Gateway and it seems that my old login details no longer allow access and I'm needing to re-register, hence the issue.

Re: Margaret Thatcher

It's a long time ago, but one or two things still stick in the memory.
I seem to remember voting for Thatcher and arguing with fellow workers about her policies and driving through picket lines.
I...

Re: Coronavirus - how's everyone doing?

I strongly suspect that once this covid pandemic is over, more than one corporation will undertake studies into how it was managed throughout and if you're astute you'll already be positioning your...

Re: Coronavirus

And it's likely to get worse still.
The initial warning that 2-3 million could die in the US from this virus is dictated by the mathematics of contagion.
Efforts until now have been made, not to...

Imagine you're Flllaarttz from the planet Zog.
You're here to invade Canada, why? I don't know.
You look at the country and investigate it's political structure.
You've only got one rusty Acme...

Re: 2020 Election

I suspect that there are credible threats arising from disgruntled gun toting patriotic lunatics wanting to rid the country of the election stealing commie anti-christ.

Re: 2020 Election

Hands up!
Got it wrong.... again. Predicted a landslide but failed to asses the mania abroad in the US properly.
Think I'll go away and boil my head in goose fat.

Re: 2020 Election

This election, and the last: Trump is/has been a warning.
Trump won the last election because the poor were grasping at straws and demolished the blue wall. As Trump himself said, "what the hell...

Re: 2020 Election

I gave the debate to Biden on points.
Had his opponent been a younger Biden he'd have lost by a knockout... but he's lucky, Trump has no brain.
Biden came across as, well what he is, an old man...

Re: Trump Trump Trump
