We have been in the process of applying for It. citizenship for c. 18 months now, only to have seemingly fallen at the last hurdle.
Italians can't seem to understand that most women in England,...

We took 'EXPATS' advice on this subject last year, and at the end of the day, found it easier to renew our passports in the UK, in one of those pre-booked, one-day 'turnarounds'. With mother-in-law...

You are right, of course, linseed oil; there is indeed an excellent health service out here, BUT, not in the sense that the NHS is understood in the UK ... a "free" health service from hatch to...

Just a couple of thoughts : there is no NHS out here and the farmacia can be very expensive.
Yes, doctors write prescriptions, but they are not all necessarily "free" ones.
