You are right. I know someone whos being chased for the balance of a debt after the their house was sold.
That was five years ago, doubt the laws changed.

I'm very happy with my life in Spain. I've got enough to be able to have a decent lifestyle but no different to my UK life just more sun.
No need to work no dependants and speak reasonably fluent...

Most teachrers I know earn £40k plus. Heads of big inner city schools can get over £100k. Plus good pensions.

All have degrees.

Don't know a TEFL who earns anything like that.
