A) Buy food at supermarkets

B) Eat non organic

Pommie sausages are generally bland pork and little variety compared to Oz, eg the Asian varieties alone. And don't get me started on pommie (Danish) bacon pumped full of brine. Double smoked...

So you've tried all sausages in Australia? If you bother to look you'll find sausages better than any in blighty but they aren't in supermarkets obviously. Try organic pork from old English breeds...

Either you didn't look very hard or just not where you live? Great pies available that aren't 'cardboard and mince' but not commercial varieties though.

Correct. They still had rationing when I was born though to young at the time to remember much of 50's food, but at least it wasn't full of additives, hormones, antibiotics etc.
