i came across a few at work, as patients. They were aloof to the point of rudeness, the boys arrogant and dismissive of women, or maybe it was just non Mennonites. Anyway, not impressed with that...

Any luck?? The nasty thing about going over is that not only do they stop your GIS they reclaim it. I went over the income amount by about a thousand and they sent me a letter asking for repayment....

get yourself recognized as a tax resident of Canada and then you won't pay tax in the UK on it. Just declare it on your Canadian tax return.
