Getting your passport stamped

We got our acceptance letter today so all we need to do is get our passports stamped.
The letter isn't clear whether we need to turn up in person or if we can just post them to the AHC in London.

We are planning on doing a validation trip at about the same time. We hope to go for 3 weeks to Sydney, Brisbane and as much else as possible.
How much are economy air fares around that time?...

If you are getting a police form in response to a request from Adelaide, bear in mind you have to reply within 49 days. If the police are taking 3 months plus, you probably need to let Adelaide know...
