With spouse visas I'm not sure that a short overstay is really a concern to immigration. Are you worried it may present a problem if you try to move here again in the future?

We're in a similar situation, my husband is here on his 2 year spouse visa. When that expires, April 2013, we will apply for ILR. Then for spouses the requirement is residing in the UK for 3 years...

Yeah I used to be quite good at the weakest link, now i'm awful! But my US Geography isn't so bad :)

Actually... I was at Detroit airport on the 14th June.
Is your wife also a non-US passport holder? If she is, it might speed things up.
My husband is USC and the line for US passports was 3 times...

I'm pretty sure this is incorrect.
As a B2 visa holder, everytime I enter the USA I get a new I-94. The 6month expiry date is valid for this one trip only.
When I depart the USA I give the I-94 to...

Nothing worse than someone who immigrates here and then complains about the country that accepted them.
My husband is a US citizen and therefore we have a choice of whether to live in the US or UK...
