It shouldn't be a problem when you move back. Things will sort themselves out when they are amongst English speaking kids. They will have to speak English in that environment so they will.

I posted a little at the beginning but looking at the new requirements it is impossible for us to go back, only way I can see is through an EU country.

It took 3 weeks in October. Very straightforward

My son's Canadian passport took longer and they even phoned about the guarantor for a simple renewal.

We are all different. I don't have that much of a big pull to the UK, I would be more than happy living in Europe but being a lot closer than I am now. Flights a lot cheaper, can go more, less time...
