Re: Oh how I miss European prices

I was in Iceland in April and you wouldn't want to compare the prices to Canada, UK or Poland:lol: Lucky we were there for only 4 days, would have been bankrupt otherwise.

The title should be 'Oh...

Re: IT jobs in Spain?

Thank you! I have sent him all the info and he will go through it tonight.

Does anyone have any info on an EU citizen married to a non-EU citizen moving to Spain?

Re: Moving back with kids not speaking English

It shouldn't be a problem when you move back. Things will sort themselves out when they are amongst English speaking kids. They will have to speak English in that environment so they will.

Re: Who gets the flu shot?

I posted a little at the beginning but looking at the new requirements it is impossible for us to go back, only way I can see is through an EU country.

Re: Who gets the flu shot?

You obviously have no idea at all of people's INDIVIDUAL situations.

And for the record I can't go back home due to the new spouse visa regulations which is affecting British citizens worldwide....

Re: Who gets the flu shot?

I hate these kinds of posts from people who have no idea at all of some of the situations that people are in that make them stay.

Re: School bus query

I would be 100% sure that your house is over the 1.6km to the school. I know someone who's child takes the bus for French immersion. For SK they measured the distance from the normal school to their...

Re: Renewing a UK Passport

It took 3 weeks in October. Very straightforward

My son's Canadian passport took longer and they even phoned about the guarantor for a simple renewal.

Re: British citizen living abroad? Non-EEA spouse? This may affect you!

We are all different. I don't have that much of a big pull to the UK, I would be more than happy living in Europe but being a lot closer than I am now. Flights a lot cheaper, can go more, less time...

Re: Theresa May wants minimum income of £25,700; £49,000 if you have 2 kids

And if anyone has any info about Belgium, I would be really interested in that.

Re: Toronto streetcars in rush hour

I wouldn`t rely on the 504 in rush hour. I am not 100% sure about the morning commute but coming back you will probably be having to let some go as there is no space at all to get on. The other...

It will be re-opening in the summer under the Movenpick name. There is a cafe there now selling drinks, sandwiches, snacks that sort of thing.

Re: Thoughts/Experiences about PERU

What do you intend doing workwise? Do you intend on working there for a local company? Or can you take your work to Peru and get paid a British wage?

Re: Argentina-Info/advice required

Maybe this is redundant as you aren't going but if you are thinking of going to a place like Argentina then you have to see how it is first, that is a must.

And if we did ever go, we wouldn't be...
