There's a lot to be said for being honest with yourself, I can imagine you went through a few hoops to get to where you are...so to make this decision...

Seriously even after 4 years? To be honest ... I'm convincing myself that I'll be ok in a GTA winter...but if I'm honest, I'm not sure at all how I'll cope with 3-4 months of relentless grey sky,...

Browsing on mls.ca (as you do) ... I've found some AMAZING (:eek:) houses (huge lots, big back yards etc) in and around Kitchener which would cost well into the million+ mark closer to Toronto.

From doing some more research on this forum ..it sounds like Ajax/Pickering are the places to consider seriously .... and learn to fall soundly asleep on the GO trains ...

I'm in the process of getting PR and have relatives who live in Ontario in Whitby, Vaughan, Toronto and Ottawa. I've only gone and visited them in holiday mode so pretty much everywhere...
