I am currently here on a 457 visa with my husband and kids. I am a nurse and I have been sponsored by the hospital.

I don't have enough points for independent visa and I was depending on an extra 5 points from state sponsorship :(.........but at least I got my 457 visa yesterday:D ...

The general ielts will do to lodge visa application. I have done EOI and will lodge state sponsorship application this week.

thanks! I emailed a hospital about work with my CV. I got an interview within a week. It was a phone interview which was fine. They offered to sponsor me. I've had friends inquire about this...

Even if you have nursing registration with APHRA do you still need to have IELTS for skills assessment? I suppose you do.

Do I have to submit a certified copy of a house hold bill, bank statement or something for APHRA? Also, how long does this process take usually?:huh:
