not sure about that. shops indicate harvest time and our bit of spain can get two crops a year on some items eg asparagas as crop cycle is shorter than uk

the farmers around us are likely to be our calendar. just laying foundation of a veg/herb garden but much we just go pick ( after the pickers have taken the crop) broad beans, asparagus, peas,...

just moved to spain ( see ecobuild) but retired. really consider renting first,do not buy yet. there is plenty of rental to choose from with less financial commitment.

we will have aircon and a couple of c eiling fans but because of cool roof and lowered thermal mass in the walls (too much thermal mass cannot cool down enough at night) we hope to be comfy without...
