Remember that a lot of them are money losing food businesses (or something similar) started by new immigrants with no other choices....I know lots of them, at the end of the day many do not even make...

Personally I did find that a lot of the resident that think that Vancouver is the best city in the world where to live in reality have nowhere else to go... :D

I know that...still look at the amount of drugs and medical treatment related ads compared to everything else....and listen to all the conditions they are supposed to take care of....despite of this...

Yes, unfortunately it's true...keeping people drugged up...they offer drugs for just about everything, just watch a TV shows and you will see that the vast majority of ads are drug or medical...

But I would take the NHS anytime over the American mess.
During the roaring 90s in Europe there was a hush-hush movement to bring more element of the American system in the EU national...

Maybe...however in my 3 years spent in Vancouver I noticed that the safety net, to me, diud seems better than in US...to me the Canadian society appeared more "fair" than America.
